These are the power plants supporting the electricity demand in the Greater Delhi region (with 22 million plus inhabitants). Most of the power plants in and near the Delhi metropolitan region (colored in red) were converted to run on natural gas, except for Badarpur and Dadri. All the power plants outside of the designated modeling domain (colored in blue) are operating on coal.
